After winning a triple threat tag team match that also included the teams of Killer Tsunami (CK & Ronnie Tsunami) and Guerrero de Sangre & Phoenix Star, HRW deemed Kid Karnage & Tyler Durken worthy of the title of #1 Contenders for the tag team titles.  This title came into effect at HRW "Assault & Battery" on March 30th in Victorville, CA.  Project Mayhem took on the team of Arrogant 'N Cocky (Slick Nick & Tarantula) in one of the most exciting title matches in recent memory for the still young promotion.  Both teams looked to use their signature underhanded tactics, but in the end, the champions retained their gold.  After hitting a brutal variation of his "Toxic Shock" on Tarantula, Karnage seemed to have the win and the titles within reach.  Tarantula, however, had enough wit left in him to get a foot on the ropes.  Karnage, growing progressively frustrated, took down his singlet straps and signaled he was going to go for another Toxic Shock.  This time, though, Tarantula knew what was coming and caught Karnage in a bone-shattering spinebuster.  He rolled Karnage up tight (with a handful of tights), and then, according to the referee, got a 3 count.  Karnage, Durken, and the fans in attendance were skeptical about the decision.  Karnage furiously chased the tag champs to the back after the match, and later could be heard demanding a rematch.  We'll see if HRW commissioner, Mr. Massie, listens to Karnage and grants his wish.

That same day, earlier on in the morning, Karnage put aside his differences with EWF American Champion, Vizzion, for one day, as the two competitors joined EWF promoter Jesse Hernandez and former SoCal legend Cincinnati Red in volunteering at the Special Olympics in San Bernardino.  The children were overjoyed that the wrestlers took time out of their schedules to cheer on the athletes, as the day became very special for all involved.

April should prove to be an action packed month for the "Innovator of Anarchy."  On April 9th, at EWF's "Fallout" in Covina, Karnage is scheduled to take on not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR other competitors.  Kid Karnage will compete against Markus Riot, X-Torm, Max Martin, and his old nemesis Liger Rivera in a 5-way match-up to determine the #1 Contender for Joey Harder's EWF Cruiserweight Title.  Karnage realizes how big of an opportunity this is and will be firing on all cylinders at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  Then, on April 13th, Karnage returns to High Risk Wrestling at "Action Packed," teaming with Tyler Durken to possibly get their rematch for the HRW Tag Titles.

At the last Hybrid Pro Wrestling show, Kid Karnage teamed up with Joey Dynamite to take on the team of the gargantuan Biggie Biggz, and the preening star that Hybrid fans love to hate, Chris Diamond.  Biggz and Diamond won the match-up by countout when, after Biggz delivered a shocking "Burning Hammer" to Dynamite onto open chairs, he grabbed Karnage and powerbombed him onto his fallen partner.  After the two regained their senses, they demanded a rematch, and on April 29th, 2006, they'll get it...only this time, the match is to be held under  FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE rules.
